“NEVER TOO LATE, winner of the Grand Prize „Regard d’or“ 2012, is a touching story of a personal quest: A young man by the name of Hertzel comes back to Israel broke after years abroad and finds work hanging advertising posters. He drives across the country from north to south in his deceased father’s old Volvo until his journey brings him face to face with himself. Never too Late is a feature length road movie set in Israel.

It was written and directed by Ido Fluk and produced by Gal Greenshpan and Ido Fluk under Green Productions.

“Along with the latest intriguing projects from Eran Kolirin (The Band’s Visit) and Joseph Cedar (Beaufort), Fluk’s Never Too Late could be the little gem that catches everyone off their guards (“Eye on Cinema”).

The rough cut of the film won a funding grant from the Israeli film fund, as well as a 25,000 euros first prize at the “Work in Progress” competition at Haifa Film Festival.

The short film stars Caitlin O’Connell. It was written, directed, and edited by Ido Fluk and produced by Ronny Merdinger at NYU.

The Film won the Best Drama award at Ivy League festival and a post production grant from Warner Bros. studios, , was a finalist at Con-Can film festival, and officially selected and screened at the Jerusalem International Film Festival, Athens International Film Festival, Brooklyn Arts Council film festival, Savannah film festival, Emerging Filmmakers film festival, Rochester NY, Reel Jews film festival NY, inShorts film festival, St. Petersburg, Russia, and NYU’s First Run.
